Cover Sham
Can I machine wash a duvet cover that says Dry Clean only?
I need to wash my duvet cover, but it says dry clean only. I have the matching pillow cases, and shams, and I machine washed them and it worked out perfectly. They are made of the same material. Will it be ok to wash the duvet cover too?
It may shrink. You can keep it to a minimum by washing in cold water and allowing it to air dry. When it is dry, run it in the dryer on an air fluff cycle. You may have to iron it, too.

Why Purchase a Floral Duvet Cover In a Set
A floral duvet cover set is the easiest way to turn an old boring bed set into a brand new, beautiful one. A duvet cover can be bought alone, but with just a few dollars more you can get it with matching shams, pillowcases and sheets. I have always purchase my comforter covers in sets rather then alone. I make sure it includes both shams and pillowcases. A bed filled with pillows is very inviting. Getting a duvet set that has both pillowcases and shams in two different styles looks more fun then all four being of the same design. The shams should be placed in front of the pillowcases. The shams take place of decorative pillows as well. They usually have an opening in the middle of the back, with slightly overlapped fabric. Pillow cases can be used for decoration but there main purpose is to protect the pillows. They can be used inside the pillow sham with the pillow. When it is time to go to bed, you can easily remove the pillow sham and sleep with the pillow case over the pillow.
The perfect floral duvet set should also be reversible. It is the fastest way to change the look of your bedroom without spending a dime.
