Modern Glass
What more could any living room table to eat? Glass or wood?
I know that glass is very difficult to keep clean, but my husband says the glass looks more modern and easier to clean than wood. What ya'll think? I also have a 2 year old boy and I worry about him by broken glass or wooden table absorbs more germs than glass.
I prefer wood. It is easier to maintain a spotless white. Two handprints and Glass Table is not clean, even at a wooden table is not shown. A glass panel should be cleaned on the bottom and top so is at least 4 times the same work. If you have a child, you will fly nuts kept clean. I would not worry about the wood absorbs germs. You shall eat the plates, no table. People have used wooden tables, and they invented the tables and I do not think it was a source of concern. While the wood is finished intact, can be cleaned and disinfected, so if you feel necessary. I would be more concerned about a child walking beside a glass table and keeping their eyes or open head and yes, fleas are quite possible when you are old enough to start hitting things with other things, if not already. Glass is hard and noisy when put elements into it. I do not like looking at a glass dining table and see everyone's feet. If you have a large dining room, use a glass table exists, but every day is better wood.
