How do I get black ink on a brown leather couch?
My 2-years later, a black swirly mark on my brown leather sofa. I tried to clean the skin, but did not. Comments?
If the ink is a pigmented leather then the first thing you should try is a bar ink (find one who is a professional product used in the industry - LTT do one). The fresher the ink more chance you have of removing it. Remember to check the type skin before it, as if using an aniline style it will not work and can leave a grease mark will not disappear. If an ink stick does not work a stripper solvents base will be used and also remove the end of May and the pigment is best left to experts. Use hairspray/WD40 and all other cleaning solvent is very risky because it can make matters worse, since the ink is spread over a larger area and can sometimes be impossible to correct.
